5 types of popular dances you can find

1. JAZZ: Jazz is a classification shared by a lot of dance styles. Before 1950, it was originated from African dance styles of America. It includes techniques such as classical ballet, contemporary dance, and body expression.

 

2. CONTEMPORARY: In contemporary dance, the dancer expresses himself through the techniques of classical ballet but incorporating other more modern body movements. That is why this style is known as contemporary dance or modern dance.

 


3. HIP HOP:  Hip-hop dance refers to urban dance styles interpreted primarily with hip hop music or that have evolved as part of their culture.
  




4. SHUFFLE: The term Shuffle has been used to designate a dance step and, later, a musical rhythm, linked to blues and jazz.The dance as such uses heel-toe combinations, but also drag and a series of basic steps with which each person can build different and varied sequences.

        

5. FUNKY: This word is used for a type of dance in which the expression is very important through movements that accompany that rhythm and has a style similar to hip-hop, where mishaps are performed.
